CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The City of Corpus Christi will raise water and wastewater rates starting January 1, 2026.

City officials said under the new plan, the average residential water bill is expected to increase by $4.78 per month, and wastewater rates will rise by $4.20.

Adjustments are necessary to fund ongoing infrastructure upgrades and cover increased water supply costs resulting from the Mary Rhodes Pipeline.

Full rate details are available on the city’s Utility Rates and Fees webpage.

The city acknowledges the financial impact on households and offers assistance for eligible residents through the Project One Water program.
