The Dallas Mavericks are celebrating their 45th anniversary by bringing back a fan-favorite throwback uniform.
The team announced Thursday that 13 games this season will feature the team’s green, blue and white Hardwood Classic collection, which honors the early days of the franchise.
The Mavs will be rolling out a throwback court during these games, as well, featuring the cowboy-hat wearing letter “M.” But that will only be for 12 of the games, as Dallas will also wear the Hardwood Classic once on the road against the Golden State Warriors on Christmas.

To celebrate the launch of the Hardwood Classic collection, the Mavericks will roll out the blue carpet for a pregame plaza party, with vintage photo opportunities, merch pop-ups and ‘80s-themed activations, on Oct. 26 ahead of the game against the Toronto Raptors at American Airlines Center.
