Netflix House Dallas Opens December 11 at Galleria
Netflix is opening its first Netflix House location in Texas on December 11, 2025, inside Galleria Dallas, according to the company’s official site.
The attraction spans more than 100,000 square feet and will feature interactive experiences, themed dining, and exclusive merchandise inspired by Netflix’s most popular series.
According to Netflix, the Dallas location includes:
Immersive experiences from titles such as Squid Game and Stranger Things
A full restaurant, Netflix Bites, serving dishes inspired by Netflix shows
An arcade-style zone called Netflix Replay
A retail shop with exclusive Netflix merchandise
The venue will operate seven days a week.
Dallas Region To Host Nine 2026 FIFA World Cup Matches
AT&T Stadium — officially designated “Dallas Stadium” for the tournament — will host nine matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, according to FIFA.
The match slate includes group-stage games, knockout-round matches, and a semifinal, making Dallas one of the central host cities in North America.
In a separate announcement, FIFA designated Dallas as the International Broadcast Center (IBC) hub for the tournament.
Beginning in early 2026, the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center will host global broadcasters responsible for television, radio, and digital coverage of the World Cup. The facility will operate for roughly six months and serve as the central media command center for the entire event.
New Dining Concepts Expanding Across the City
New restaurant openings across Dallas include:
Laal Lupita Taco & Mezcal — opening at 1201 Oak Lawn Avenue with hand-pressed tortillas, wagyu and duck tacos, mezcal offerings, and traditional Mexican dishes including grasshopper tacos
Delilah Dallas — a 1920s-style supper club with live music and burlesque performances
Frenchie — an all-day French brasserie at Preston Center Plaza
Mammani — a newly opened Uptown restaurant with French and Italian Riviera-inspired menus

According to the video, Dallas will host a range of events throughout December, including:
Trans-Siberian Orchestra at American Airlines Center (Dec. 20)
Lights All Night Festival at Dallas Market Hall (Dec. 30–31)
The host said the lineup reflects Dallas’ emergence as a major entertainment hub.
Dallas Leads U.S. in Hotel Development
Dallas currently leads the nation in hotel construction, with 197 projects either planned or underway and more than 24,000 rooms in the pipeline.

Downtown YMCA Plans New Childcare Center
The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas is planning a two-story, 25,000-square-foot childcare center at the T. Boone Pickens YMCA.
It is expected to accommodate 304 children, from six months to six years old, with project costs estimated between $3.5 million and $4 million.
High Line Square: $1.3B Development in the Design District
A major mixed-use project known as High Line Square is planned at 1650 Oak Lawn Avenue.
The development will include:
A 30-story residential tower
Construction is projected to begin in 2027, with completion around 2030.
