LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – (News release from the City of Lubbock)
The City of Lubbock invites residents to share in a bit of holiday joy during its first-ever Holiday Ornament Scavenger Hunt, beginning Monday, December 8, 2025, at 2 p.m. and running through Friday, December 19, 2025, excluding weekends.
Ten ornaments will be tucked away at some of the community’s most iconic and well-loved spots. Daily clues will be posted on the City of Lubbock’s social media accounts indicating where the ornaments can be found. Participants can follow @cityoflubbock on X, Instagram, and Facebook to stay up to date on new hints and scavenger hunt news. Residents who find an ornament will need to bring it to the Citizens Tower to redeem a prize and take home a small piece of holiday cheer.
The scavenger hunt is designed to bring people together, encourage exploration, and highlight the places that make Lubbock feel warm and welcoming during the season. Families, friends, and neighbors are encouraged to take a moment to slow down, enjoy the outdoors, and make new memories across the city.
