Lubbock Spots Giving Back This Week
The Human Bean (7019 82nd St) The Human Bean in Lubbock is hosting Coffee for a Cure this Friday, October 17th, from open until close, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. During the entire day, 100% of proceeds will be donated to a very worthy local breast cancer charity, Women’s Health Initiative at the YWCA of Lubbock!
The Women’s Health initiative provides financial assistance for breast and cervical cancer screenings to uninsured and underinsured women and men who meet program guidelines.

The Human Bean franchise has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars every year collectively, and has had this initiative for 20 years. Last year, our Lubbock The Human
Bean was new and still managed to raise thousands locally.

Chickie’s Tasty Treats (4930 S Loop 289 #205) has partnered with The Inside Out Foundation, a local charity that provides “aesthetic products and emotional healing services” for Lubbock area breast cancer survivors.
On Friday and Saturday, Chickie’s will feature a special pink ribbon box of four beautiful bonbons, with 50% of the proceeds going to the Inside Out Foundation.
