Six Texas A&M football players were named to All-SEC teams announced Tuesday.
Three Aggies were first-team selections and another three made the third team. Wide receiver KC Concepcion was a first-team pick after transferring from North Carolina State. He was top 10 in the conference in both catches (57) and receiving yardage (886) and tied for the SEC lead with nine receiving touchdowns. The junior’s 15.5 yards-per-catch average were top 10 in the conference for those with more than 20 receptions.

Concepcion also was named to the first team as a returner thanks to his conference-leading 460 punt return yards and two touchdowns (tied for second).

Trey Zuhn III, a senior offensive lineman who’s played in each game, was a first-teamer for his work at tackle. The team captain was a third-team selection last year after starting every game.

Star defensive lineman Cashius Howell, with his SEC-leading 11½ sacks in the regular season, also was named to the first team. He had six pass deflections, which tied for the lead among SEC linebackers and linemen. The senior is in his second season with the Aggies after transferring from Bowling Green.
Missouri had the most first-team players, with four. No Aggies made the second team but three made the third team: wide receiver Mario Craver, offensive lineman Chase Bisontis and linebacker Taurean York.
Craver is in his first season with the Aggies after being an All-SEC freshman team pick last season with Mississippi State. He was fifth in the conference with 825 yards, but was slowed with injury near season’s end. He had four touchdowns across his 52 receptions.

Bistonis is in his third season with A&M and played 12 games this season. He was an All-SEC freshman pick in 2023. York, another team captain, has 67 tackles (31 solo) and a sack with two passes defended.
The individual conference awards will be announced Wednesday. The all-freshman team is slated for Thursday.
