Former Led Zeppelin frontman and longtime roots-music explorer Robert Plant is bringing his latest band, Saving Grace with Suzi Dian, to San Antonio’s Majestic Theatre on Wednesday, March 19.

In common with much of Plant’s recent work, Saving Grace’s music draws heavily on U.S. folk traditions, including country, gospel and blues, and mixes those ingredients with roots influences from the singer’s own upbringing in the U.K.’s Midlands.

Dian often serves as co-vocalist, trading verses with Plant much as the former Led Zep singer did in his 2000s-era collaboration with bluegrass star Alison Krauss.

The band is touring behind its debut album, Saving Grace, which dropped this September.

San Antonio-born alt-country and rockabilly performer Rosie Flores, now an Austin resident, will open the San Antonio show.

General tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. this Friday via the Majestic box office, while artist presale starts 10 a.m. Wednesday. Other promotional presale deals become available Thursday.

Ticket prices unavailable, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, Majestic Theatre, 224 E. Houston St., (210) 226-3333, majesticempire.com.
