SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A Canadian rock and roll band that credits San Antonio fans for giving them their first big break in the states is reuniting for a tour in 2026.

Triumph, featuring original members Gil Moore, Rik Emmett and Mike Levine is hitting the road next year to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their debut album.

After releasing a second album in Canada, the Ontario based band made their first major US appearance at the Municipal Auditorium in San Antonio in February of 1978.

Triumph went on to release several gold or platinum selling albums including ” Just A Game”, “Allied Forces” and “The Sport of Kings”, all while continuing to be a top concert draw.

Triumph announced Tuesday that they will tour together for the first time in over 30 years and will return to San Antonio for a show at Frost Bank Center May 21, 2026.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
