Fire officials responded to a three-alarm apartment fire Wednesday morning, according to a Fort Worth Fire Department social media post.

Firefighters responded to reports of a fire in the 1300 block of Gazebo Lane at about 8:13 a.m., according to Craig Trojacek, Fort Worth fire spokesperson.

Over 20 units and around 90 firefighters responded to the scene. Red Cross is also on the scene assisting, according to Trojacek.

About 50 people were displaced from the complex, but no injuries were reported.

The fire is under control, though harsh winds have made it difficult to extinguish, Trojacek said.

Officials encourage those in the area to avoid the scene and give first responders the space they need, the post said.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
