AUSTIN, TX – Malabar Gold & Diamonds, the 5th largest jewelry retailer globally with a network of over 415 showrooms across 14 countries, has significantly expanded its North American footprint with the launch of two new showrooms.

The company’s 416th global showroom opened in Ajax, Ontario, Canada, and its 417th was unveiled in Austin, Texas.

This Austin location marks the brand’s seventh showroom in the US and was officially inaugurated on December 7. Na’Cole Thompson, Mayor for the City of Leander, led the opening ceremony. The event was attended by Shamlal Ahamed, MD-International Operations; Faisal AK, Head of Manufacturing; Ameer CMC, Director of Finance & Admin; Shaji K, Chief Digital Officer; Joseph Eapen, Regional Head of North America operations; Jasar R, Branch Head in the US; and Barani SM, Deputy Branch Head, along with other senior management and well-wishers.

Ahamed commented, “The launch of our Austin and Ajax showrooms reflects our commitment to elevating India’s jewelry craftsmanship onto the world stage and advancing our ambition to become the world’s No.1 jewelry retailer.”

The showroom at Austin, has been designed to be one of the most prominent premium showrooms of Malabar Gold & Diamonds in the country. It features a collection of over 20,000 jewelry designs in 18K and 22K Gold and diamond jewelry. The location also offers a provision for a customized jewelry designing facility and a luxurious customer lounge.

Key focus areas include Health, Hunger Free World, Housing, Education, Women Empowerment, and Environment. Through the Hunger Free World initiative, over 115,000 meals are distributed daily across 119 locations globally.

With these new openings, Malabar Gold & Diamonds now operates a total of 10 showrooms across North America. Other U.S. showrooms are located in key cities: Los Angeles, New Jersey, Dallas, Chicago, Naperville and Atlanta.
