TERRELL HILLS, Texas – A search for the wife of Joe Straus III, the former speaker of the Texas House of Representatives, is intensifying after she went missing Thursday night.
Terrell Hills Police Department said Julie Straus, 64, was last seen just after 6:30 p.m. at a home off Geneseo Road near Broadway.
Julie is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs around 140 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, black leggings, and black and white tennis shoes.
Joe Straus III was the speaker of the Texas House of Representatives from 2009 to 2019.
