If you’re delayed in hanging your outdoor Christmas lights, Friday or Saturday might be the best day.

Friday should be the warmest of the recent days of above-normal temperatures, when the high will top out at 67 degrees, almost 10 degrees above average, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office. The skies should be clear with pleasant conditions across the metro area.

Conditions should be similar Saturday before a cold front moves in during the night. A slight chance of rain is possible, but strong wind gusts are more likely as temperatures drop.

On Sunday, temperatures should drop significantly, with the high of 44 almost 20 degrees below Saturday. Temperatures have the possibility to drop below freezing Saturday night.
