Juluke, who arrives in Austin after four seasons coaching at Florida, will also hold an associate head coach title with the Longhorns.

Juluke has been coaching running backs at the collegiate level for the last 13 years, with stops at Louisiana Tech, LSU, Texas Tech, Louisiana and Florida. He’s coached several running backs who went on to play in the NFL, including Leonard Fournette, Derrius Guice, Eli Mitchell and Raymond Calais.

Florida’s rushing offense averaged 4.3 yards per carry during the regular season, which ranked ninth in the 16-team SEC. The leader of that backfield was sophomore Jadan Baugh, who rushed for 1,170 yards and eight touchdowns, posting 5.3 yards per carry. In a win over Texas on Oct. 4, Baugh carried the ball 27 times for 107 yards and a touchdown.

A native of New Orleans, Juluke helped recruit four top-200 prospects to play at Florida, according to 247Sports, including five-star quarterback DJ Lagway.
