AUSTIN (KXAN) — Visibility fell to less than one mile overnight in several locations. Prior to 6 a.m., the visibility was 0 at reporting stations in Cameron and Frederickburg.
A Dense Fog Advisory continues until 9 a.m. for all counties except San Saba.

Widespread fog during the early morning
Today
There will be a spring feel today with area highs warming to the low to mid 70s. A few upper 70s are likely south and southeast of Austin.

Feeling like spring this afternoon
The morning fog will be accompanied by areas of light rain moving south to north. Very little rain will be measured.

Some areas with a little rain this morning
The fog will lift, whatever light rain will end, and the clouds will decrease to a partly cloudy sky this afternoon.
Cold Front Late Tonight
The next cold front arrives tonight with a little more light rain along with a possible thunderstorm(s) moving north to south.

Late-night cold front with a few showers and possible thunderstorms
Here, again, there won’t be much rain measured. In fact, total rain between this morning and tonight won’t amount to much more than a few hundredths up to .10″.
Sunday Chill
There will be a feel of winter Sunday as afternoon temperatures will average the upper 40s to low to mid 50s.

Another taste of winter temperatures Sunday
But those 40s and 50s will feel more like 30s and 40s because of a biting north wind.

Windy much of the day
Cold Monday Morning
Could Austin-Camp Mabry’s first freeze happen Monday? It’s possible but, for now, we’ll keep that morning minimum a degree above to start the day. Wind speeds will be low so there won’t be much of a wind chill.

The new week starts with cold air
Next Week
The air will warm throughout the week. A weak cold front arrives Thursday night leading to minor cooling Friday. Rain will be limited to a few isolated showers Wednesday, then again as Thursday night’s front arrives.

Afternoon highs for the the next 7 days
