EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Nearly 3,000 students from the University of Texas at El Paso will walk the stage to receive their diplomas this weekend.
There will be four graduating ceremonies — two on Saturday, Dec. 13 and two on Sunday, Dec. 14 — to honor the 2025 summer students and over 2,200 fall students, the largest fall-only degree cohort in UTEP history, according to the university in a press release.
Here is the schedule for the ceremonies:
Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025
1 p.m.: College of Education and College of Engineering
6 p.m.: College of Liberal Arts
Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025
1 p.m.: College of Science, Woody L. Hunt College of Business and School of Pharmacy
6 p.m.: College of Health Sciences and College of Nursing
Guests attending may enter the Don Haskins Center, located at 151 Glory Rd., one hour before each ceremony.

UTEP security will be enforcing a clear bag policy at the Don Haskins Center. For more information about permissible items, you can visit the university’s website here.
Additionally, UTEP has provided a parking map to show where guests can park for free, paid parking and ADA guest parking.
To top off the celebrations, the university will be lighting the “Mining Minds” Pickaxe sculpture and the “M” on the Mountain until Sunday, Dec. 14.
