A San Antonio man accused of killing two people at the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino in Eagle Pass in September has been indicted on multiple charges, according to reports.

Keryan Rashad Jones, 34, was indicted by a grand jury on Dec. 2 on charges of murder, capital murder of multiple persons and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to TV news reports.

His arraignment is scheduled for Jan. 7 at 10 a.m.

Jones was arrested in late September, accused of carrying out the Sept. 27 shooting in Eagle Pass that killed two people and injured five people.

Officials identified the victims as Alicia “Daniela” Sanchez, the mother of five, and former Border Patrol agent Marcus Antley.

Kickapoo police responded to the casino about 11:50 p.m. that day and found seven people with gunshot wounds near a crosswalk and pathway outside the casino entrance, according to Jones’ arrest affidavit.

While first responders tended to the victims, officers began searching for Jones and the black Nissan Frontier he was believed to be driving, the affidavit states. The next morning, deputies in Wilson County arrested Jones.

Jones is being held in the Maverick County jail on a $5.1 million bond.

The casino reopened on Oct. 3, about one week after the fatal shooting.
