A key member of the Dallas Cowboys’ defense went down with an injury Sunday.
Defensive tackle Quinnen Williams left Sunday’s game against Minnesota late in the fourth quarter. He attempted to make a stop with Dallas trailing by eight points. Williams spent a few moments on the turf before he walked to the locker room with trainers.
The Cowboys later announced that Williams was being evaluated for a concussion. He was evaluated for a similar injury earlier in the game in the medical tent on the sideline.
Williams made an impact early against Minnesota, coming down with an interception of J.J. McCarthy in the first quarter. The Cowboys were also without fullback Hunter Luepke, who left the game with a concussion at the start of the second half.
