LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Clouds will persist through much of Monday. Winds will shift slowly to the south and become southwest by evening.
Despite the southwest winds, patchy fog — including isolated freezing fog — is possible late tonight into Monday morning across our western zones.

Chilly conditions will continue through tonight, with patchy freezing fog possible across the Caprock early Monday morning.
Motorists on the Caprock should use caution Monday morning; freezing fog can reduce visibility and create slick spots on untreated surfaces.

Highs will rebound into the low to mid 60s Monday afternoon as upper-level ridging moves over the region and cold-air advection ends.
Unseasonably warm and dry conditions are expected Monday through the rest of the week as the ridge holds overhead. Nighttime lows will be milder than average, and no significant precipitation is expected.
