Planoites Michele Wheeler and Michael Sinocola will receive awards at the North Texas Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame ceremony.

Two Plano residents are honorees in the 2026 North Texas Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame ceremony, including Jackson-Shaw CEO Michele Wheeler and Sinacola’s Michael Sinacola.

Wheeler joined Jackson-Shaw in 2005, where she led the company’s expansion into industrial, hospitality and residential development nationwide, according to a press release. She has also served as president of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (now known as Commercial Real Estate Development Association). chair of The Real Estate Council’s National Product Council, board member of the TREC Foundation and the Jackson-Shaw Foundation and board member for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas.

Newmark vice chairman Brian O’Boyle, Sr., will join Wheeler in being inducted into the 2026 North Texas Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame on Wednesday, April 29, at the Arts District Mansion.

Sinacola (formerly known as Mario Sinacola & Sons Excavating, Inc.) brothers Michael, Joseph and Planoite James are set to receive the 2026 Industry Service Award, given to those who have advanced the commercial real estate industry while working outside the traditional business sectors.

The 2026 NTCAR Reunion and Hall of Fame celebration will take place at the Arts District Mansion, located at 2101 Ross Ave. in Dallas, on Wednesday, April 26 at 5 p.m.
