A 12,957-square-foot mansion at 6601 Hunters Glen Road, ranked recently as the most expensive home in Texas, has been sold for $30.5 million, according to Alex Perry of Allie Beth Allman & Associates.
Perry, who handled the listing, said the property had originally been listed for $35 million.
The property was initially listed on Oct. 31 and was on the market for less than two months before being sold, Perry said.
The home was built in 1927, and it is a nearly 2-acre property with five bedrooms, six bathrooms and three half bathrooms.

It was previously owned by a trust headed by Joshua Pack, the Fortress Investment Group co-CEO. Pack died in September at the age of 51.
The buyer was a local family, said Perry, who declined to publicly identify the buyer.
