40 years of Donne di Domani and "the sauce"

HOUSTON, Texas — Donne Di Domani translates to Women of Tomorrow. It’s also the name of a Houston nonprofit group composed of 42 Italian American women.

Since 1985, the ladies have been selling their signature marinara sauce as a way to give back. Over the years, they have donated more than two million dollars to charitable causes.

In the video above, the ladies look back on the days of handmaking the sauce and the loyal following they developed.

As for how you can get your hands on a jar, they started doing pop-ups this year. The sauce cannot be found in any traditional store. Upcoming dates will be announced on their social pages, Facebook and Instagram.
