TYLER, Texas (KLTV) – Three East Texas football teams will be competing at AT&T Stadium in Arlington this week.

2A D1, Wednesday at 7 p.m., Joaquin (11-4) vs Hamilton (13-2).
The Joaquin Rams are averaging 34 points per game, while Hamilton is putting up 33. Defensively, the Rams are giving up 20 points per game, while the Bulldogs are allowing 11. Both teams are making their first appearance in the state championship game.
4A D1, Friday at 11 a.m., Kilgore (14-1) vs Stephenville (15-0).
Stephenville is averaging 47 points per game, while Kilgore is averaging 41 points. Defensively, Kilgore is allowing just nine points per game, while Stephenville is allowing 10. This is Stephenville’s seventh appearance in the state championship game, with six titles, while Kilgore is making its fourth appearance, with one state championship.
4A D2, Friday at 3 p.m., Carthage (15-0) vs West Orange-Stark (12-3).
The Bulldogs come into the state game putting up 52 points per game, while the Mustangs are scoring 36 per game. On defense, Carthage is allowing 18 points per game compared to West Orange-Stark allowing 19. The Bulldogs are making their 12th appearance in the title game, and their 11th under coach Scott Surratt. The Bulldogs have won 10 state championships, including the 2024 title. West Orange-Stark is making its ninth appearance at state and has won four state championships.
