Texas Tech Soccer added championship experience and USYNT pedigree to its goalkeeping unit with the signing of Florida State transfer Addie Todd. Todd will join the Red Raiders ahead of the 2026 spring semester after competing for one of the nation’s premier programs with the Seminoles where she was on two-national championship teams.
“We’ve had a run of elite level goalkeepers through the years and we were fortunate to find Addie Todd,” said Texas Tech head coach Tom Stone. “Now having Todd come available continues that tradition of top-level goalkeepers playing in net for us. Blair Quinn [goalkeeper coach] is a great developer of talent, and this is a young lady who had started 30 games in the ACC and been on two National Championship squads.”

A native of Littleton, Colorado, Todd arrives in Lubbock with an accomplished résumé that includes being on two NCAA Championship teams in 2023 and 2025, three ACC titles and extensive starting experience in goal. She started all 21 matches for Florida State during the 2024 season, finishing with seven shutouts and helping lead the Seminoles back to the NCAA Tournament. Over her career, Todd posted a 15-2-4 record as a starter and delivered in high-pressure postseason moments, including penalty-kick saves in ACC Tournament play.
“Addie has big dreams and goals that match ours and I know we are very fortunate to have her coming to the Red Raiders,” Stone said. “She seems like an absolutely ideal fit, from her family, to her personality, to her drive and values. Addie Todd is going to be tremendous for us.”
Todd also brings experience at the national level, having been part of the U.S. Youth National Team pool and earning club All-America honors, further strengthening her profile as a high-ceiling player.
“She’s extremely talented and technical and her experience at the highest levels of youth and college soccer has been excellent,” Stone said. “She’s going to have a leadership role here based on her voice and drive. She’s explosive and can make the big save. We’re happy that trend will continue around here.”
Todd will enroll at Texas Tech in January as the Red Raiders prepare for a championship run in 2026.
