COLLEGE STATION — Three Texas A&M football players were listed on the CFP availability report Wednesday ahead of Saturday’s first-round meeting with Miami.
Starting running back Le’Veon Moss stood out among the group, listed as “questionable.” According to head coach Mike Elko, Moss’s status was uncertain coming into the week, but the Aggies’ running back was practicing during the portion of practice made available to the media Tuesday.
“We’re in wait-and-see mode with that one,” Elko said Monday, “so we’ll see where that goes.”
Moss suffered a leg injury during the Aggies’ victory over Florida on Oct. 11 and has missed the rest of the regular season. Up to that point, the preseason All-SEC selection had accumulated 389 rushing yards on 70 carries and scored six touchdowns in six games.
Others on the report include linebacker Scooby Williams (probable) and safety Bryce Anderson (probable).
Of the four names listed for Miami on the report, the most notable one is defensive back Keionte Scott, who was listed as probable. Linebacker Mailk Bryant was listed as out, while wide receiver Daylyn Upshaw was listed as doubtful. Defensive back Damari Brown was listed as questionable.
More availability reports will be made public before Texas A&M plays Miami at 11 a.m. Saturday.
