A Motown Christmas

Friday 19, Geraldine’s

For years, Austin-based R&B singer Tje Austin has hosted a “Motown Christmas” event in which he and several musical guests perform a variety of classic Christmastime tracks. This go-around’s a bit different because he’ll also perform his new, Christmas-themed EP Seasonal D. The four-track release contains original music; “Everything I Want for Christmas” breaks the fourth wall and acknowledges Texas rarely sees snow.

Nathan Felix & the Dirty Rotten Boys

Saturday 20, Hotel Vegas

Typically a composer of grand, operatic music, Nathan Felix teamed up with four other musicians to perform at KOOP Radio’s SXSW 2025 day party for a dirt-stained country deviation. Nathan Felix & the Dirty Rotten Boys features Felix as an acoustic guitarist and gritty lead vocalist. This show – the group’s first in a proper club/music venue – celebrates the release of the band’s next single, “Take Me Back to Odessa.” Moving Panoramas rounds out the Hotel Vegas evening starter.

Toys for Tots Fundraiser
