Robstown Mayor Mary Ann Saenz and Council Member John A. Ramon sworn in

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The City of Robstown welcomed Mayor Mary Ann Saenz and Council Member John A. Ramon, Place No. 1, who were sworn in during Wednesday night’s City Council meeting.

City officials said they expressed confidence in their leadership and commitment to public service as they begin their terms.

Mayor Saenz and Ramon are expected to work with the council to address community priorities and continue efforts to move Robstown forward. 

Residents elected Mayor Saenz on Dec. 13 after defeating David “Petey” Martinez by 13 votes.

Mayor Saenz previously told 3NEWS she has big plans for the City of Robstown, “All I ask people is to be able to make a judgment on what you see and to be able to make a decision on what you know, and today, it was a tight one, but I ended up victorious,” said Mayor Saenz.
