CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A police chase in Corpus Christi ended tragically early Thursday morning when a vehicle carrying three juveniles crashed, resulting in one fatality. Officers had attempted to stop the vehicle for reckless driving before it fled and later collided with a parked car on the 800 block of 16th Street.

The Corpus Christi Police Department reported that two of the juveniles sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while one suffered serious injuries and later died at a local hospital. During the investigation, officers received a report of an aggravated robbery involving a vehicle taken at gunpoint by juvenile males. The vehicle involved in the crash was identified as the stolen car, and a firearm was recovered from inside, according to the department.
