LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – An investigation is underway into a situation involving a Monterey High School student and staff member.
Lubbock ISD Superintendent Kathy Rollo says a parent took some concerns to administrators at Monterey, who immediately began an investigation.
Rollo says because the investigation is ongoing, the district cannot provide any more details about the situation or the name of the staff member involved.
She did confirm that the staff member is no longer employed by the district.
