EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Saturday, Borderland! Even though it doesn’t feel like it, winter starts Sunday, and the region continues to track well-above average temperatures. Hopefully you’ve been enjoying the comfortable weather conditions because we have more in store.
Saturday night, mostly clear skies and a low in the upper 40s will be seen in El Paso. This will lead into another sunny and warm day, with Sunday’s high near 75 degrees.
Lows through the forecast period will mostly fall to the mid- and upper 40s. The highs will mostly range in the 70s with calm afternoon breezes.
The area will be dry through Tuesday, with some precipitation chances Tuesday and Wednesday near the Gila Range. In El Paso, we’ll see an increase in clouds these days.
Wednesday’s high will be around 73 with the low falling around 48. Christmas Day on Thursday will have a high near 75 with calm afternoon winds.
