King vs. DeSoto: Live Texas High School Football Class 6A Division 2 championship ARLINGTON, Texas — It comes down to this. Texas will crown high school football champions this weekend and the Houston area has three teams that hope to bring the title back home.

It’ll be a big showdown between H-Town and the Big D. Here are the games being played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
5A Division 2 – 11 a.m.
Dallas South Oak Cliff vs. Richmond Randle
6A Division 1 – 3 p.m.
Duncanville vs. Galena Park North Shore
6A Division 2 – 7 p.m.
DeSoto vs. C.E. King
North Shore is used to playing in state title games…and winning them. They’ve won five Texas state championships since they opened in 1962. Their last one was in 2021. That same year, Randle opened and now the school is looking for its second straight title.
C.E. King opened in 1954 and have yet to win a state title. They’re hoping this is the year.
