Babes on Baffin Women’s Fishing Tournament
Join us for a weekend on the water! Babes on Baffin is the annual all-women’s fishing tournament hosted by the Corpus Christi chapter of CCA Texas. Now celebrating its 21st year, this event brings together women anglers for competition, community, and conservation.
Expect a weekend of inshore fishing, camaraderie, prizes, and supporting coastal conservation. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or new to the sport, there’s a place for you in Babes on Baffin.
Bailando International Dance Festival 2025
The Bailando International Dance Festival 2025 returns October 9–11 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., bringing dancers, choreographers, and enthusiasts from around the globe to Corpus Christi for a three-day celebration of movement and artistry.
Hosted at the Performing Arts Center at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and surrounding venues, Bailando showcases a wide range of performances, workshops, and master classes spanning multiple styles — from contemporary and ballet to folkloric and cultural dance traditions. This annual event fosters community, creativity, and collaboration, offering opportunities for professional development, artistic exchange, and audience engagement.

The Rocky Horror Show – Aurora Arts Theatre
Come up to the lab and experience The Rocky Horror Show, sponsored by Garcia & Richmond, directed by Dylan C. Rios and assistant directed by Laurie Guajardo and do the time warp with us!
Sweethearts Brad and Janet find themselves stranded with a flat tire during a storm, leading them to the mysterious mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As their innocence fades, they encounter a houseful of eccentric characters, including a rebellious biker and a creepy butler. Amidst elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter reveals his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.” With plenty of audience interaction and a selection of fun props, this delightfully rock ‘n’ roll sci-fi gothic musical is perfect for those who love a wild, untamed experience.

Discounted Admission for the 250th Anniversary of the US Navy
From October 10–13, general admission is $2.50 per person, for all guests. In addition, a $25 discount will be applied to all levels of museum memberships. Come join us for The Port Aransas Fall Kite Fly on Saturday Oct 11, 2025! Flyers will start setting up around 10am near beach marker 13 and will be flying all day weather permitting. There may even be night kites depending on the wind and who all shows up to fly!
