After a sweltering Saturday, North Texas is heading into a cloudy holiday week starting Sunday on the Winter Solstice. Is there hope of getting some sunshine?

Sunday marks the beginning of a cloudy few days in the Dallas-Fort Worth region, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office.

Day temperatures are expected to reach a high near 59 degrees before dropping down to 50 degrees at night. A calm breeze of 5 to 10 mph is likely to move around the region.

The first half of the holiday week is forecast to be cloudy, but the region might see some sunshine on Christmas Day.
