PLANO — Senior running back Chance Culley ran for 132 yards and three touchdowns to lead Plano to a 28-14 win over McKinney Boyd on Friday night at Plano ISD’s John Clark Stadium.

The Plano rushing attack paced the offense, accounting for 132 of its 200 total first-half yards and turning the game in its favor with two quick scores before halftime. Culley’s second-quarter touchdown run reclaimed the lead at 14-7, and an interception gave Plano (4-3, 3-3 in District 6-6A) a chance to take a multi-score lead to the break.

Wide receiver Kaedyn Brown darted into the end zone for a seven-yard touchdown, and Culley picked up where he left off in the third quarter — breaking through for an eight-yard score to put the game out of reach as Boyd struggled to sustain long drives and Plano continued to run the clock.

Plano running back Kameryn Brown added 142 total yards, while quarterback CJ Smith had 126 yards through the air on 11-of-13 passing.

Boyd (1-5, 0-5) tight end Timothy Karsholt scored a two-yard rushing touchdown, and quarterback Marcus Johnson added a five-yard score on the ground as time expired.
