AUSTIN, Tx., December 22, 2025: A report released last Tuesday by the Texas Talent Trajectory report analyzes how El Paso’s Independent School Districts are serving El Paso’s students. The report is generated from data released by the Texas Education Agency, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and the Texas Workforce Commission.
Using a sampling of information collected from students who started high school in 2014, (cohort) the analysis found that of the 13,000 students across El Paso’s school districts, 11,000 graduated and 7,396 enrolled in high school. Of those, 2,979 graduated college.
When broken down by gender, women outperformed men in both receiving an associate degree or a bachelor’s degree. More men entered high school, but both genders graduated around the same number of graduates, suggesting more the men dropped out before graduating.
