Reports had previously stated that Moore would enter the 2026 NFL Draft. It’s common for players to pursue both paths before deciding where they’ll play. The transfer portal officially opens on Jan. 2. The deadline for players to declare for the draft is on Jan. 14.

Moore, a junior, was a two-year starter for the Longhorns. In 11 games during the 2025 regular season, he caught 38 passes for 532 yards and four touchdowns as Texas’ second-leading receiver.

The Longhorns have a large collection of young receiving talent poised to fight for playing time. Ryan Wingo, Emmett Mosley V and Parker Livingstone all gave Texas key production as sophomores. And the Longhorns signed four top-200 wideouts in the 2025 receiving class who didn’t see the field much during their freshman seasons.

Moore finished his Texas career with 77 receptions, 988 yards and 11 touchdowns.Â
