Annex Brands, a franchisor in the packing, shipping, and office services space, has opened a new PostalAnnex location in El Paso, strengthening its retail footprint in a key US–Mexico border market. The new center is owned and operated by PostalAnnex franchisee Edgar Nuñez, who said the opening marks his fourth PostalAnnex location.

“Opening this location is an exciting milestone for me and my team. With four locations now, I am proud to continue serving our communities with reliable shipping and business solutions. Each center represents our commitment to reliability and customer service, and I am grateful for the trust and support we have received from local residents and businesses, and from Annex Brands,” says Nuñez.

The store, located at El Paso, is designed to serve both residents and small businesses with a consolidated menu of services, positioned around PostalAnnex’s “Get More Done in One Stop” approach. Annex Brands says the new PostalAnnex will provide multiple shipping options through major carriers, such as UPS, FedEx, and USPS, alongside professional packing support aimed at helping customers ship items more securely and efficiently.

Beyond shipping, the El Paso location is also offering private mailbox rental, notary public services, and a range of office services, including printing and access to packaging supplies, positioning the store as a neighborhood resource for everyday business tasks.

“Edgar’s newest PostalAnnex location in El Paso, TX, will proudly continue this tradition of excellence, delivering essential services to local businesses and residents. This new location reflects the strength of our franchise model, which empowers local owners to thrive and provide essential services to their community,” says Patrick Edd, CEO and President, Annex Brands.

Headquartered in San Diego, California, Annex Brands has offered business ownership opportunities since 1985 and operates a multi-brand system that includes PostalAnnex, Pak Mail, AIM Mail Centers, Parcel Plus, Sunshine Pack & Ship, Navis Pack & Ship, and Handle With Care Packaging Store.

The company says it now licenses and franchises over 800 locations across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, reflecting sustained demand for retail shipping, packing, and mailbox services, especially in markets where small businesses and cross-border commerce depend on reliable logistics access.

The new El Paso opening comes as Mexico and the United States continue to reinforce their position as top trade partners, an intensifying flow of cross-border commerce that is keeping demand high for last-mile logistics, shipping, and business services along the border. US Census Bureau data shows Mexico ranked as the United States’ number one goods trading partner by total trade in September 2025 (ahead of Canada and China), underscoring the scale of bilateral trade moving through border markets like El Paso.
