AUSTIN, Texas — Each October, racing fans journey down to Austin for a distinctly Texan Formula 1 experience.

The Circuit of the Americas track is expected to welcome over 400,000 attendees this weekend as Formula 1 celebrates its 75th anniversary in the Lone Star State. With three days of live music, special events and racing planned, fans are gearing up for a jam-packed weekend that will culminate in the United States Grand Prix on Sunday.

However, attending the race comes at a hefty price. According to a recent report from Vegas Insider, F1 fans can expect to spend at least $1,200 for accommodations and tickets.

Luckily for Austinites hoping to experience this year’s race without breaking the bank, a variety of watch-parties will pop up across the city to make sure everyone can catch a glimpse of the action.
