A person is dead and police are searching for a suspect after a fatal shooting Tuesday night in the Red Bird area of Dallas.
About 9:09 p.m. Tuesday, Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 4200 block of Independence Drive. Officers determined that two people got into an argument, which escalated, according to Dallas police. One person then shot the other.
The victim died, according to police. The shooter left the scene before officers arrived.
The name of the victim was not available Wednesday morning. Police did not release any information about a suspect.
