LANDOVER, MD \u2013 Dak Prescott walked into the postgame press conference room following the Cowboys\u2019 30-23 win over the Commanders on Christmas Day with a hoodie that read, \u201cWake Up Happy.\u201d After taking six sacks and 11 quarterback hits, that won\u2019t be the only feeling that Prescott wakes up with.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ll wake up happy for sure, but I\u2019ll probably wake up a little sore too.\u201d Prescott said.<\/p>\n
Even still battered and bruised with a 7-8-1 record in tow and being eliminated from the playoffs, there\u2019s no doubt in Prescott\u2019s mind that he wants to, and expects to, play in the Cowboys\u2019 season finale next week against the Giants.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor sure, no question,\u201d Prescott said when asked if he wanted to play up next week. \u201cI love this game, I love any opportunity that I get to play it. That being said, if I get to go out there, I\u2019m going to give it my best, prepare the same way, I\u2019m going to be the same player that you guys know. I understand, the reasons why maybe not, and if I\u2019m approached with that, I\u2019ll handle that then\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
