CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 Firefighters with the Corpus Christi Fire Department and Emergency Services District 2 responded to a vehicle fire outside a Chick-fil-A restaurant on South Padre Island Drive Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Officials said crews were called to the 9600 block of SPID, where a vehicle was on fire near the building. Firefighters were able to work quickly to extinguish the flames before the fire could spread or cause significant damage to the restaurant.<\/p>\n

No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n

The restaurant was not damaged and remained open for business following the incident.<\/p>\n

The cause of the fire was not immediately released.<\/p>\n
