Over 1,300 runners and hundreds of spectators will participate in the two-day event. The event is drawing runners from throughout the United States. The 26.2-mile CCTX Marathon is also listed as a Boston Marathon qualifying race.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Participants can run various courses this weekend: a 26.2-mile marathon, a 13.1-mile half-marathon, or a 2-person half-marathon relay, and a 5K. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Saturday, December 27<\/p>\n<p>The 5K race will begin at 7:00 a.m. at the Hilliard Center, 1901 N. Shoreline Boulevard, to McCaughn Park and end at the Hilliard Center.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday, December 28<\/p>\n<p>The Marathon and Half Marathon will begin at 7:00 a.m. at the Watergardens next to the Art Museum and the Hillard Center, 1901 N. Shoreline Boulevard.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Temporary road closures for the event path are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 South on N. Shoreline Boulevard to Resaca Street<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 West on Resaca Street to N. Chaparral Street<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 North on N. Chaparral Street to Harbor Drive<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 South on Harbor Drive, continue down N. Mesquite Street to Belden<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Street<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 West on Belden Street to N. Broadway Street<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 North on N. Broadway Street<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 West on N. Port Avenue, continue south on N. Port Avenue<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 East on Leopard Street<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 North on N. Lower Broadway Street<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 East on Taylor Street<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 South on N. Mesquite Street<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 East on John Sartain Street<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 North on Water Street<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 East on Schatzell Street<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 South on N. Shoreline Boulevard, continue south on Ocean Drive<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Turn around on NAS Gate<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 North on Ocean Drive, continue north on N. Shoreline Boulevard<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 End at Watergardens behind the Hillard Center<\/p>\n<p>One lane along the course will be dedicated to runners along Shoreline Boulevard and Ocean Drive and closed to traffic. Closures along these routes aim to ensure the safety of the runners and spectators during the event.
