Childress reached a high of 87\u00b0, also smashing the previous record of 78\u00b0 set in 1928.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Saturday night brings one final opportunity to experience mild conditions before a significant weather shift takes over the region Sunday.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"KCBD\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/L65554GZFVFCFHJOZDS3ZBYKY4.PNG\" width=\"980\" height=\"614\" \/>KCBD(KCBD)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Overnight lows will moderate into the 40s and 50s thanks to elevated winds and cloud cover.
