The Broncos fell  3-1 to the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.maxpreps.com\/tx\/plano\/plano-wildcats\/volleyball\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Plano Wildcats<\/a> on Friday. Unfortunately, that&#8217;s the second time they&#8217;ve come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-0  back in September.<\/p>\n<p class=\"infosentience-paragraph\" style=\"order:2\"> While McKinney Boyd ultimately came up short, they really made  Plano work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 17-25, 25-16,  25-23.<\/p>\n<p class=\"infosentience-paragraph\" style=\"order:4\"> Leading Plano to victory were <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.maxpreps.com\/tx\/plano\/plano-wildcats\/athletes\/maren-mccardel\/?careerid=onu2s933dfisc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> Maren McCardel<\/a> and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.maxpreps.com\/tx\/plano\/plano-wildcats\/athletes\/madeline-garcia\/?careerid=kclbbs0vdmdsc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> Madeline Garcia<\/a>.  McCardel  had 14 assists and 11  digs, while  Garcia  had seven  kills and six  digs. That&#8217;s the most  digs  McCardel has posted since back in August.<\/p>\n<p class=\"infosentience-paragraph\" style=\"order:5\">McKinney Boyd dropped their record down to 12-16 with the  loss, which was their third straight  at home. As for Plano, their victory  ended  a  four-match drought on the road  and  puts them at 26-9.<\/p>\n<p class=\"infosentience-paragraph\" style=\"order:6\"> We&#8217;ve got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. McKinney Boyd is set to  face off against  their familiar foe McKinney  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
