The bill also mandates insurers regularly report those reasons by ZIP code to the Texas Department of Insurance, which must post summaries online.<\/p>\n<p>Business tax relief<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/capitol.texas.gov\/BillLookup\/History.aspx?LegSess=89R&amp;Bill=HB9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/capitol.texas.gov\/BillLookup\/History.aspx?LegSess=89R&amp;Bill=HB9\">House Bill 9<\/a> provides a major tax break for business owners by raising the amount of business property exempt from local property taxes.
