If\u00a0you\u2019re\u00a0like me and always thought of Chuck E. Cheese as a safe space, think again.\u00a0Seriously, every time\u00a0I\u2019ve\u00a0ever been there, everyone seemed as happy\u00a0as they\u00a0could\u00a0be.\u00a0I never thought I would see a full-on brawl at one. But\u00a0here we are.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Then again, after reading a thread on Reddit<\/a> about the fight that broke out at the Chuck E. Cheese off Preston and Park in Plano\u00a0over the weekend, it sounds like\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0a common occurrence, and it makes a lot of sense.<\/p>\n

Reddit Says Chuck E. Cheese Fights Happen More Than You\u2019d Think\u00a0<\/p>\n

One of the folks commenting on the thread said they worked at one, and the\u00a0cops\u00a0would be called out to it about once a month.\u00a0In many cases, fights would break out between exes\u00a0while they were gathered for a child\u2019s birthday party.\u00a0According to another person commenting on the thread,\u00a0last weekend’s brawl was the result of \u201cbaby momma drama.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Armed with that information,\u00a0I\u2019ll\u00a0be a little more vigilant the next time I pay a visit to Carles E. Cheese\u2019s place.\u00a0If I notice a situation starting to get heated, I will find my way out of there. Life\u2019s too short to get caught up in a massive brawl like the one in the video below \u2013 especially if\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0over someone else\u2019s kid. I have my hands full\u00a0with\u00a0my own kids.<\/p>\n
