The Ohio State Buckeyes are set to take on the Miami Hurricanes at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Dec. 31.<\/p>\n
DALLAS \u2014 Ohio State<\/a> coaches and players took part in Media Day on Monday morning ahead of the Cotton Bowl.<\/p>\n Head coach Ryan Day was joined by the other position coaches and all the players to speak about the team’s matchup with Miami on Wednesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n Watch Media Day coverage below:<\/p>\n On Tuesday, Day will participate in a joint press conference with Miami head coach Mario Cristobal at 12:30 p.m.<\/p>\n The Ohio State Buckeyes are set to take on the Miami Hurricanes at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Dec. 31.<\/p>\n The No. 2-seed Buckeyes had a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff. The No. 10-seed Miami faced No. 7-seed Texas A&M on Saturday afternoon, taking down the Aggies 10-3.<\/p>\n Day said last week that he will be calling the offensive plays for Ohio State<\/a> during the College Football Playoff. Brian Hartline was the offensive play caller during the Buckeyes regular season, but accepted the head coaching position at South Florida<\/a> on Dec. 3. Hartline remains on the Buckeyes’ staff through the CFP and is coaching the wide receivers.<\/p>\n Day said putting together the game plan remains a group effort with co-offensive coordinator\/tight ends coach Keenan Bailey, Carlos Locklyn (running backs), Billy Fessler (quarterbacks) and Tyler Bowen (offensive line) equally involved.<\/p>\n Day called plays on offense the first five years he was Ohio State’s head coach.
