Many El Pasoans view the event as a yearly gathering that celebrates the community. <\/p>\n
“The last ten years we’ve done this and this is like our spot right here. We’ve done this for ten years. Get together, celebrate El Paso, bring in the new Year,” said one attendee.<\/p>\n
The sense of community was palpable, even to first-time visitors. <\/p>\n
“It’s just the culture in El Paso. The tailgating, the community. That’s why we’re here,” another local shared. <\/p>\n
Visitors echoed these sentiments, with some fans noting, “We were greeted by wonderful people. Everyone’s been so nice. You know, it’s been beautiful here.” <\/p>\n
Another fan added, “Everybody is so kind.”<\/p>\n

We’re from somewhere a lot greener and stuff. But the mountains are really cool. Like you’re just surrounded by mountains and also being right next to, Mexico. I’ve never been this close.”<\/p>\n
