Miller<\/a> had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They couldn’t have asked for a better start to 2026 than the 72-44 blowout they got against the Corpus Christi Moody Trojans<\/a>. The Buccaneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.<\/p>\n Charles Perry Jr<\/a> produced another solid effort putting up 19 points in addition to six assists and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he’s now grabbed three or more in each of the last five games he’s played. Brandon Smith<\/a> was another key player, going 5-for-9 en route to 14 points and five boards.<\/p>\n Miller smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they’ve now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in four consecutive matchups.<\/p>\n Miller’s win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Corpus Christi Moody, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.<\/p>\n We’ve got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Miller will take on rival Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Corpus Christi Moody is set to challenge their familiar foe Ray at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
