Beloved Dallas star Victoria Principal stepped into 76 this weekend.<\/p>\n
The stunning actress, who rose to fame as Pamela Barnes Ewing on the iconic TV series alongside legendary actors\u00a0Larry Hagman\u00a0and\u00a0Linda Gray, spent nine years in her famous role. But in addition to her time on the TV screen, Principal is thriving in her golden years and looks better than ever as she continues her work advocating for animals, even on her 76th birthday<\/a>.<\/p>\n The brunette beauty celebrated her birthday on Saturday with a party at her ranch that included a few four-legged friends.<\/p>\n “Ranch party with good friends & carrot cake<\/a> with buttercream frosting!\ud83c\udf82 Perfect!” she captioned a photo of herself snuggling up close to one of her horses, along with hashtags that mentioned carrot<\/a> cake with buttercream frosting. With her beautiful brown hair draped on her shoulders, Principal didn\u2019t look all that different from how she did during her days on TV in the \u201980s.<\/p>\n \u201cHugging Tommy is the sweetest experience. He was my very first rescue pony & at 29 years old is my senior boy. When we hug, our hearts beat together.\ud83d\udc95<\/p>\n #RescuePony<\/a>#ShetlandPony<\/a>#Tommy<\/a>#OldSoul<\/a>,\u201d Principal captioned the photo.<\/p>\n Her\u00a0Dallas\u00a0Memories<\/p>\n While animals are Principal’s true love, the actress knew she was dealing with something special when she auditioned for her role on\u00a0Dallas.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I went in for the part on\u00a0Dallas,\u00a0I had already fallen in love with the show and with the part,\u201d Principal told\u00a0PEOPLE<\/a>\u00a0back in 2018. \u201cSo my feeling from the moment I read it was that it was incredibly special and that I really, really wanted to be a part of it. I could not imagine not being Pam.\u201d<\/p>\n She got the job and skyrocketed to superstardom in the role. The series launched in 1978 and became a fan favorite.<\/p>\n \u201cThe first five years were some of the best television I\u2019ve ever seen,\u201d Principal continued. \u201cAnd then after year seven, there was a definitive decline.
