AUSTIN, Texas \u2014 Two men were found dead after a shooting incident on Monday evening in the 10400 block of O\u2019Rourk Lane, according to the Austin Police Department. The deceased have been identified as 79-year-old Charles Wagnon and 20-year-old Trevor Shepherd, both of Austin, Texas.<\/p>\n
Officers responded to the scene at 5:19 p.m. after receiving a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Wagnon and Shepherd, who were grandfather and grandson, with apparent gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene, stated the Austin Police Department.<\/p>\n
Homicide detectives and crime scene specialists were called to process the scene and conduct interviews. The investigation revealed that a verbal altercation between Wagnon and Shepherd escalated, resulting in both individuals shooting each other inside the residence.<\/p>\n
